It all begins with care. I created this pet styling salon model to provide extraordinary pet grooming care to every day dogs and their humans who love them. My over 25 years of experience in the pet styling industry have given me an inside view of how we can make the pet grooming experience better for the pets…and that is what I’ve aimed to do! We strive at Pawfection to provide thorough, professional care in a clean, comfortable, and relaxed environment. Our salon is not a dirty, dark, and dingy place where scared pups sit in a room full of cages all day. Rather, our quiet salon setting is a relaxing retreat, and our stylist(s) care for each pup individually from start to finish returning them fresh and fluffed to you directly with no delay! Cleanliness is tantamount to providing safe, effective, and quality care for your pets. We maintain exceptionally clean facilities and disinfect workspaces between each pet. Additionally, we reduce risk of exposure to communicable illnesses by eliminating the communal aspect of grooming. We do not cage pets all day in tight, highly trafficked spaces like high volume models. Instead, we groom each pup one at a time and call you as soon as they’re ready to come home. Our goal is to provide extraordinary service to you and your pets, so please come and experience the difference.

FAQs

  • Every pet is different, and so is our tailored service pricing.

    That said:

    BASIC. (Bath) services start at $50 for XSmall pets.

    BETWEEN. (Tidy) services start at $65 for XSmall pets.

    BEYOND. (Haircut) services start at $75 for XSmall pets.

    All Poodles, Doodles, and mixes thereof are hourly at $85/hr and start at one hour for XSmall.

  • We are an all-inclusive service. The only additional costs here would be for cases of severe matting, or intensive styling/scissoring. We include, face scrubs, high-end shampoos, brightening shampoos, conditioner, leave-ins, nail filing, tooth brushing, deshedding, light detangling, cologne/perfume, bows/bandanas, and photos.

  • NO! We are specifically set up fr personal, one-on-one service. There are typically no more than 2-3 pets in our salon at once. The average time spect here is one to two hours (occasionally longer for bigger or more intensive needs pets). Pets are scheduled to arrive and leave with minimal overlap. We have minimal crate space and can not house pets for the full day. This is intentional to maintain cleanliness, lower potential exposure, and create the most calm, and efficient environment.

  • We use ONLY pet-safe, pet-specific products. Our line of products used have been carefully curated by our in house pet aesthetics trained staff. We use various products across several product lines including SpecialFX, Iv San Bernard, Les Poochs, Envirogroom, Artero, and Chris Christensen. We also do not use harsh, super high concentrate products (our maximum concentration is 32:1) as these products are often irritating, drying, and of lower overall quality.

  • We are definitely not the least expensive grooming option available. However, we feel we are one of the most inclusive, thorough, and professional services. As mentioned above, we are not only one-on-one, but also all inclusive - there are no crazy add-ons, or unexpected costs. We also use high quality products, and offer a high-end experience. We are not set-up to be a high volume lesser quality type of business model. Whereas the costs are spread over several (sometimes dozens) clients, we keep it reserved to lower quantity higher quality (typically 6 or fewer) service.
